Cherokee

The Cherokee Idians lived in Georgia,North and South Carolina,Virginia,Kentucky,and Tennessee. Their houses where made out of plaster,rivercane,and thached roofs and they where as warm as log cabins. They grew and ate corn, beans,squash,sunflower,berries,nuts,fruit,soups,and stews. Their clothing was made out of deerskin,rabbit fur decorated with porqupine quills. They would use and make canoes and tomahawks for their tools and wepons. They would travel by using canoes. The average day at the village is alot of work making funiture, getting food, and making a fire but they still have fun. For their entertainment they would do pipe carving,rivercane baskets,gourd art,and pottery for entertainment. A famous Chief  is Sequoyah. Some interresting facts are that they told fairy tales and they spoke in a language called cherokee.
